PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR BFSP #03
With my project I want to explore the relationship between the physical, mental and the common notions of an object.Via the medium of performance Iintroduce three characters, named ‘X’, ‘I’ and ‘Body’for whichadialogueis set up.The performer explores the relationship between these characters by turning herself (partly) into an object. This way shecreates a character of herself capable of conversing with other characters on a same material level. It’s an act of empathy towards objects and an attempt to dismiss the hierarchy between object and maker.
